Funded through the second round of ERA’s Grand Challenge, the Solidia Technologies project aimed to develop a breakthrough process to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with cement production. The technology hoped to offer an alternative to traditional cement by manufacturing the cement at lower temperatures and with less limestone. The funding relationship was ultimately cancelled in 2019
