This project aimed to adapt Coastal Hydropower Corp’s (CHC) fish-friendly Very Low Head (VLH) water turbine technology. Funded through Round 3: Renewable Energy in 2011, the project planned to take two years to modify the VLH turbine design for cold climate operation. The funding relationship was ultimately cancelled.
