Drones are becoming an essential tool in agriculture across Alberta. They are increasingly used for seeding and weed management, reducing the need for large, emission-heavy machinery. These drones offer environmental advantages and present significant economic opportunities for Alberta’s farmers through smart farming practices.

AIRMarket is utilizing Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) drones to detect, monitor, measure, and reduce methane emissions from agricultural and forestry operations throughout the province. Fully compliant with the new Transport Canada regulations, the AI-enabled drones include safe remote control operations and feature advanced cameras for increased accuracy.

This initiative also integrates AI-driven, long-range heavy-lift drones into Alberta’s wildfire management strategies, representing a significant breakthrough in the field.
