FortisAlberta is implementing an Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) to manage and optimize the Company’s electricity distribution grid more effectively and efficiently for its customers. The ADMS platform will support the integration of distributed energy resources and add improved functionality, including real-time monitoring, advanced network analysis, outage management and grid optimization. This foundational platform is a critical component of FortisAlberta’s central operating environment for managing the increasing complexity of a modern electricity distribution network.
