This project aims to demonstrate NexTitan, a modular drilling technology that enables longer, faster, and cleaner well construction using conventional drill rigs. The technology is deployed near the drill bit as part of the bottom-hole assembly (BHA), the lowest part of the drill string responsible for transferring the drill’s weight to the bit and controlling the wellbore’s direction and slant. Rather than optimizing on the surface, NexTitan addresses drilling inefficiencies at the source by directly applying and controlling drilling forces. It also features real-time sensor feedback and closed-loop automation to optimize drilling, resulting in fewer failures, smoother operation, and improved drilling performance. This pilot project will validate NexTitan’s performance in local geological conditions through a live demonstration in partnership with Eavor, highlighting the environmental and economic benefits for oil and gas and geothermal drilling applications.
