David Collyer completes second term as Board Chair

David Collyer completed his second term as Chair of the ERA Board of Directors effective September 30, 2023. Mr. Collyer was Chair of the ERA Board of Directors since October 2018. Over the past 5 years, he has helped shape the strong and strategic organization ERA is today.

Since he began with ERA, Mr. Collyer helped guide:

  • Over $670 million in ERA investments
  • Refinement of ERA’s unique value proposition, including greater emphasis on communicating the successes and lessons learned from projects.
  • Updated investment focus areas in its Technology Roadmap
  • Navigating COVID-19 economic recovery efforts with both provincial and federal funds
  • Enhancing the Board’s engagement on performance management and enterprise risk management.

David Moss has been appointed interim Board Chair for ERA by the Government of Alberta while they work to identify and appoint a permanent Chair. Mr. Moss has been a member of ERA’s Board of Directors since July of 2019 and will provide a strong continuum of support until a successor is named. In this role, Mr. Moss will facilitate future Board and committee meetings, maintain governance, and support the ERA executive team.
