AdvEn’s patented electrode-making technology, trademarked as Electrode Super Adhesive Coating (ESAC), offered an alternative to the emission-intensive traditional electrode-making methods. Funded through ERA’s Industrial Transformation Challenge and announced in 2023, the project aimed to pilot the ESAC and advance it to a commercial demonstration. The funding relationship was ultimately cancelled in 2025.
