Established in 2004, E-T Energy Ltd.’s team of eight scientists is developing environmentally friendly, energy efficient and economically viable methods of oil sands production through the process of Electro-thermal Dynamic Stripping (ET-DSP™). This is an electrical heating technology used extensively in the environmental industry to remediate contaminated soil and groundwater.
E-T Energy Ltd. will operate a pilot test-site on its Poplar Creek property to determine the feasibility of the technology. The transfer of ET-DSP™ to oil sands production will demonstrate how the use of water and electricity can significantly reduce the emission of GHGs on-site.
