RTI International has developed a process to use the oxygen in CO2 to convert the CO2 into useful chemical feedstock. With an environmentally responsible and economically sound process that consumes large amounts of CO2, the primary products created are sought after in the chemical industry to make everyday products like ski boots and fishing rods.

RTI International’s process converts CO2 and hydrocarbon resources using the oxygen in the CO2 as a catalyst. The primary products created from the process are ethylene oxide and carbon monoxide. The process can be integrated into existing petrochemical infrastructure in Alberta and around the world.
